Director of betting products at iGame Media, Matthew McNabb, provides an update on OneData, iGame Media’s odds and sports data gateway.

SBC Summit really reinforced the importance of what we’re building with OneData.
The whole iGame team had many frank conversations with sportsbook trading and product teams about the challenges and blockers they face when adding new sports and innovative odds models that they admire into their product-stack.
These conversations felt a little like a therapy session. The frustration was obvious. There’s no shortage of talented people and organisations within our industry trying to push the boundaries of what their product looks like, the entertainment it offers and a burning desire to stand out in their markets.
Too often they’re technically unable to find enough resource and capacity to integrate a new odds or sports data provider.
That’s a scenario that OneData will fix.
Have the integration challenges for sportsbooks changed?
It’s been just over a year since I’ve been inside the trading and product engine at a sportsbook, the challenges and constraints appear to have got worse. Technology has continued to get older, technical debt is grinding some teams down to a halt, and niche sports and products therefore become harder to justify.
We’ve built OneData from scratch meaning we’re able to operate at a real pace. This includes new techniques to integrate and map new providers and suppliers to our infinitely scalable schema. It also means we can adapt the platform to unique customer requirements and the delivery formats and information that they need.
SBC was a great forum to meet many odds and data providers face-to-face. We have big ambitions to continue to expand the universe of providers that the sports betting industry can innovate with – I’ll share updates on those discussions in my next update.
What new suppliers have we finalised integrating into OneData?

We’ve just completed the integration of the in-play Premier Padel official umpire data, as well as our ingest of the historical data back to 2023 that spans more than 7,500 matches across the men and women’s tour.
There was lots of interest from a wide variety of the operators in many markets for Padel. Now the official data, and odds models powered by this data will be easily accessible, we expect this interest to ramp up in advance of the 2027 season.
If you’d like further details on the official Premier Padel betting product, or more details on the wider ecosystem of suppliers available inside OneData – please get in touch with us.

I’ll be back in a few weeks with an update.
